My Blog Utopia hat ein paar Zahlenspiele zu Ebays Daily Deal Angebot in den USA. Und rechnet vor, was ein Händler wie Buy.com ein Angebot des Tages bringt:
"Buy sold 1,080 items at $99.99 with Free Shipping, of course they only showed 821 in stock so that is the number I will base this calculation on. Total Revenue for Buy.com on that item was $82,091.79 , not a bad take for one single item, on a single day."
Er ist allerdings skeptisch, ob es den Daily Deal bei Ebay sehr lange geben wird:
"All things being equal for each Daily Deal, eBay would generate $1,872,906.25 in revenue from their Daily Deal annually. That is a lot of money to me and you especially because there is very little cost associated with it once you pay down the development costs, but my guess is eBay will think that just isn't worth it."
